Clients often leverage our advanced toolsets and algorithms, to avoid avoid re-inventing the wheel and focus on the novel aspects of their system. We foster a collaborative "one-team" environment, promoting daily communication and shared repositories. With GuideTech, you gain scalable assistance that facilitates a rapid start and smooth program execution.

Below are a few examples of programs that have leveraged GuideTech’s Design Services and how we’ve been able to help.

Fury Unmanned Fighter

GuideTech’s tools, algorithms and team experience have been key enabler in the rapid development of Fury, an unmanned fighter developed by Blue Force Technologies and AFRL. GuideTech is responsible for the design and development of the Guidance, Navigation and Control algorithms, the real-time embedded Software, and provides the high-fidelity simulation used for performance evaluation. Early decisions on sensors, actuators and aerodynamic design options were made with confidence thanks to high-fidelity data generated by GuideTech’s FLEX simulation framework. Development of Guidance, Navigation & Control algorithms has been greatly expedited by GuideTech’s rich library of proven algorithms. Transition to embedded software and hardware-in-the-loop testing was accelerated by using GuideTech’s FLEX flight software framework. Fury’s flight performance is tracked using GuideTech’s CI/CD pipeline and REVEAL, our data analytics toolset. GuideTech’s EIGEN autopilot design tools allow us to rapidly ingest design changes and new aero data, and produce updated performance assessments.

Sierra Space’s Dream Chaser

GuideTech supports Sierra Space’s Dream Chaser spaceplane in a number of ways. GuideTech staff serve as the Navigation Team, ensuring that navigation algorithms and software are ready to accurately estimate the vehicle’s state from lift-off, to rendezvous with the International Space Station, and then de-orbit, re-entry and runway landing back on earth. GuideTech has also served as key contributor to the Dream Chaser modeling and simulation team; helping develop high-fidelity sensor models, flex and slosh models, as well as launch vehicle and landing gear models. As Dream Chaser is readied for it’s upcoming first flight, GuideTech is also assisting with Hardware-in-the-Loop testing.

Weapon Systems

With extensive expertise in weapon system design, development, and testing, GuideTech's staff brings a wealth of experience to the table. Our FLEX framework boasts a comprehensive library of algorithms and models, enabling us to swiftly set up simulations and evaluate system performance. We have successfully assisted numerous aerospace and defense primes, providing technical analysis for proposals, aiding in system design, and rapidly developing and integrating GNC algorithms for tech demo flight-tests. With GuideTech as part of the their team, clients experience rapid progress and achieve exceptional results.
